Gen3 Photography is proud to provide drone videography to the vacation rentals and home sales of the Ozarks. This was a shoot I very much enjoyed, on a summer day, I took the scenic drive in my trusty little Honda fit with my adventure bumper stickers adorning the trunk, and my well-used kayak racks on the top, and began my pre-shoot drive and routine, which is to listen to some fun music with the windows down. I arrived and realized I was in for a fun one, as the home was beautiful but large, so I quickly got to work. My favorite! I concluded with my photographs in time to dodge the rain for some drone videography, though it was a battle against the setting sun. The owner had told me about a dock along the lakeside behind the property, though I could not find it from my perch on the porch. No problem she said! We would just load up her trusty SUV and drive to the dock ourselves, even better as I could snag some ground-level photos as well. So in the trunk went my gear, and in the passenger seat clutching my tripod I went. Through a gate, and a narrow and hilly gravel road. It was right at sunset as we pulled up to the forest trail to access the dock. The forest walk there was breathtakingly beautiful. the absolute best of the special brand of nature the Ozarks has to offer. many tall skinny trees, but a surprising amount of larger trees as well, along a nicely mulched trail taking us to the dock. Though I worried about how dark it was getting, though to my luck and surprise the forest then opened up and the light of day returned. I made my way to the dock, got some great pictures, and then sent my drone off into the sky from the back of the dock. The sun was officially set, and the water was calm and still as the buzz of my drone merged with the buzzing of the early summer insects, and I finished up the shoot. Another day doing what I love, and here is a beautiful video to pair with it. Thank you Branson for 4 years of business! Looking forward to many more!
