The Benefits Of Drone, Ozark Edition:

Drone photography and videography has been popularized in recent years, and for a good reason. We are seeing more and more listings requesting aerial drone, but why?

The first big reason is because it is beneficial. And for specific geographic locations amidst the gargantuan landmass that makes up the united states, it is all but necessary.

As you may know if you are reading this, I am a real estate photographer located in the heart of the Ozark "mountains" which actually consist moreover of endless hills, and winding roads, unlevel ground, and rocky cliff faces jetting out from miles of various species of vegetation all panning for the sunlight, with two lakes intertwining in an almost perfect X shape, marking the spot of my general area of operations, Branson Missouri. In fact looking out my window I can see the year round freezing cold lake TaneyComo now, and its parallel, which makes for a much better swim hole, the famous table rock lake.

Now that I for some reason have explained the lay of the land that makes up the Ozarks, I think you may be able to understand why an aerial perspective is downright needed for many listings in the area.

Many homes are built on massive inclines, or declines, making for a difficult time getting the exterior shots, when all you see from the street view is a driveway that looks like it falls off a cliff, going to straight roof, or the inverse situation, where the house is on a hill so steep, it offsets the whole image. Or situation 2, which I will provide an image of below...

This image was the one that sold some thickly wooded property located just outside of Branson, and just outside of a lake view. From the ground, all you could see was the thick greenery, trees, shrubs, and vines. And all I could see with my handheld camera was green trees, and black seed tics crawling up my shins. But had the client not had the knowledge base of the terrain and ordered the drone shots, this land would have had to have been presented as just another lot full of greenery. Never to utilize this sales point, which happens to be a beautiful lake view right over the tree line, which happens to increased the property value to that of a lakefront view property.

Sometimes, to get the full story, in a landscape so rugged and interesting, it helps to get the viewpoint from up to 400ft in the air. That is why I took the time to get FAA certified, and get my drone pilots license. To help the people of Branson, Springfield, and all the local small towns show off the beauty of their little slices of the Ozarks from the sky! And since then I have helped farmers, lake house owners, businesses, investors, and more! To be the next on that list, check out my website at www.Gen3photography.com and book a shoot at gen3photo@gmail.com

Enjoy this last image of another home for sale, this one was in Warsaw Mo, and was able to display to potential buyers the full Beaty of their homes view, after all, sometimes all you need to appreciate the world around you, is to get a little higher, maybe not 8 miles high (because of airplanes) , but 400 ft will do for us! (see I did take the FAA exam!) Have a great summer!
